As a person who grew up on the east coast of the US, I often have missed the snowy white as the Autumn season turns into Winter. After living in California for several years now, I have come to enjoy our version of winter. We have a green holiday. I find it quite beautiful to watch the world around me turn slowly green with the new shoots of clovers and grasses as the rains finally come into the coast and the dry autumn winds come to an end.
